RCC Nursing Fall 2019

Hello! I thought I'd start this thread for anyone who is applying for the RN program at Riverside City College for Fall 2019! Let's all chat! :)

I’m assuming because they miscalculated her score last time, they promised her a spot, but @LVN2RN22 can confirm.

Same thing happened with me. They miscalculated my points and ----------------- was so shocked I didn’t get into the program, she tried to get me on the alternate list. But it was so full, they couldn’t. ---------------- is known for miscalculating points smh.

When you guys realized they calculated your points wrong, how much time had passed? I’m so nervous that will happen..

As soon as I got the email I didn’t get in, I scheduled an appointment and the closest they had was for a few weeks later. And I asked J why I didn’t get in and she went over all my points and realized they didn’t put in my cna points even though I submitted proof of hours.

So did you end up get in or not? That sounds scary. They act like unprofessional because they miscalculated points which should not be.

I was supposed to be in. But at that point that they realized they messed up it was too late so I didn’t get in.

omg that sucks! I'm sory that happened! Did they say you have to just try and apply again this year? That makes me sooo nervous ?

That’s horrifying! I’m sorry. There should be another person double checking everyone’s points because miscaculations should not happen ☹️ That can really set someone’s career back. Praying that all of our points are calculated correctly.

They should have at least guaranteed you a spot this time around ? That must have been so devastating. Sending positive vibes to all of you and especially S as our scores are being calculated ?
