RCC Nursing Fall 2016 possible applicants

Hello all! Please respond if you are seeking a support group regarding applying in Fall 2016.

How?? That's a big difference?

I thought I had a 3.5 with my general Ed's but I have a 3.2 so I lose 10 points

I tried calling the school to ask if they had any updates but no one answered and it was like four!

Did you count your General eds seperate from your sciences?

I did them separately the second time and ended up getting less :(

Are you sure it's a 3.2? U can't use other classes in your general Ed to make ur points higher? I had to work on my general Ed section to get A's in an areas that were lower.

Guys I think I messed up... I was just checking my application and I have no idea why but I put "no" for having proficiency in another language. That docs 5 points right?? Idk why I did that!! I took a whole year of Spanish in college and my transcripts can back me up :arghh:

Well I'm probably going to have to retake some courses where I got C's. I have two C's and the rest are Bs and As but it's affecting me so much! Well we shall see by Friday! Good luck to you!

I'm in the same boat... I'm hoping they see the advanced coursework in foreign language on my transcripts. But idk I want to assume they count it but u never know

Just out of curiosity, are there any parents who are applying this fall? If so, any plans for childcare at RCC? I have a 2 year old and will need childcare this fall (if accepted) and was curious how RCCs services are?

I didn't even know they had childcare at RCC? Interesting.

I'd like to know the same.. I have a 7 and a 1 1/2 year old. So far my moms gonna help out with the kids.

I requested some info on the children's center. It's ages 6 weeks to 6 years but I haven't taken a tour or anything. Was wondering if anyone uses the facility or will be using it.
