Rcc fall 2017 applicants

Published

So I haven't found a thread for fall, so I'm going to start this one so if anyone wants to chat let's all start here...

Hello,

I got my book list from Lippincott and there is this option to buy the book and course point plus do you use the same website and are saying we don't need to purchase both because it has the ebook included already there is a long list of books.

Did someone say the emails were sent out at midnight?

I think they meant that it's highly unlikely that they will send out emails at midnight (tonight).

So if they sent emails around noon last year, hopefully they will send them around that time this year (: so excited!

Just kidding last semester they were sent out around 3-330 they sent out denials and accepted letters before alternates...I applied to golden west in hb and was waitlisted :/ but they only accept 40 I think. But I'll apply again but I really don't know what I'm going to do if I don't get in...

It's okay. I am also in the same boat. I am really hoping I get in as well. If not, I am going to have to do this process all over again and I'm not sure I can handle waiting anymore. Hopefully tomorrow is finally the day! We just gotta be positive.

I applied for both programs. It's probably my 3rd time applying for RN and they keep switching the points out on me so I got sick of waiting. If you are banking on getting into the RN program and don't, you should definitely consider applying for LVN. Don't put all your eggs in one basket. And you can bridge into the RN program after your LVN if you're advanced placement. Worst case, at least you can get a job and get experience while waiting to do RN. They reopened the LVN applications because they didn't have enough qualified applicants. if you have taken NVN 55A/B and have your CNA, you should apply.

Still waiting on a letter! Hoping today is the day! Jackie is out on maternity leave though so I'm guessing Steve is doing everything by himself. Might take longer.

Let's all hope that today is the day!!! I know we have all worked very hard to get here! I hope to see you all at intake! I am very nervous and excited and on pins and needles

I'm sitting here at work going crazy!

I'm going crazy too but I'm still worried today isn't going to be the day and I'm too scared to call

I just called and Steve said he's going to try to get emails out by the end of the day!

All of you are making me nervous. But the long wait is almost over. Hope everyone here gets in.

Thanks for being the brave one to call haha. I can't wait!
