RCC ADN FALL 2023

Hello,

I wanted to start a thread for those applying to RCC’s traditional ADN program this month for fall 2023. I Believe I applied with 52 points pre TEAS.

I took the majority of my prereqs and GEs at Cypress college but Im currently at Goldenwest College taking Microbiology for a better grade. Im from Orange county so RCC is a decent drive from me. Have you already submitted your application?

Hi I am taking classes at Santa Ana college in Orange County. I applied to rcc today and going I get a student id soon as well. I was under the impression I had to have completed the TEAS before applying that is why I had not applied

No not yet. I’m trying to see if I can talk to a counselor so they can evaluate my transcripts… check to see if everything is good

No they don’t require you to talk to a counselor. I just looked up their pre req requirements online and also called the school of nursing and spoke to someone who went over my transcripts over the phone. That’s how I found out I needed US history and a different communications class which I’m taking now. Once you send your transcripts and they upload in the system call the school or nursing they should be able to go over them with you.

Oh okay yeah I sent my transcripts yesterday. Hopefully they receive them soon so I can call them and see if I’m good to go or need classes. Thanks for the info!

Hopefully we receive our ID number soon! I haven't taken the TEAS either. Im shooting for a 90% so I'm going to start studying for it already.

You should have it and be good to go before it closes. Have you sent your transcripts over already?

I hope so too! Do you know how long it takes for transcripts to transfer ? Also for the extra points for working with direct patient care , I don’t see medical assistant. Would you happen to know if it counts?

Any position that involves direct patient care I believe would count as long as you have the place/ employer fill out the form.?

I just got it! I'm going to send them over today. Im planning on sending them electronically so they should get there quick, right?

I sent mine expedited and payed $8 I am not sure if I did it correctly because Edit didn’t ask me for my rcc student id #. I am still awaiting it
