RCC ADN FALL 2023

Hi Chloe, are you an RCC student? I am not an RCC student but live in Riverside & trying to apply. Do you know if I have to have taken courses at RCC to be considered?

Hi Adriana,

I was not an RCC student. I took a couple classes there some years ago and dropped them. I took all my pre reqs at Chaffey and my science courses at a private college SJVC. You don’t have to have taken any courses at RCC, just have all the necessary classes done. You do have to have a current RCC application on file to apply for the program and send over all your transcripts. I was able to do that electronically.

I applied and got a confirmation email, nothing after that. I guess it’s just a waiting game now. I was told January is when invites for TEAS would go out.

So completing the TEAS is not required before applying?

No deadline for the TEAS is feb 3rd I believe for the traditional ADN

And we have to submit official transcripts before applying right?

Yes official transcripts and have a current RCC application on file. Application closes on Nov. 1st so it would be best to do an application now so you can get a RCC student id and send the transcripts electronically.

Also do you know if we have to talk to a counselor? I’m transferring from San Bernardino Valley College that’s were I took all my prerequisites.

Last minute decided to apply this app cycle. Im currently waiting on my RCC student ID.  I applied to the college over the weekend so Im hoping I receive it soon.
