Raleigh School of Nurse Anesthesia/UNCG

Published

Hello all,

I am thinking of applying to RSNA/UNCG for Fall 2016. I see they have extended the deadline to December 15th. Has anyone here applied here or interviewed for Fall 2016 that can provide some insight? (Application process, interview style, time it takes to be notified of acceptance or denial, etc.) Thank you for the help.

I have applied. I am going to visit the campus soon. Do you know much about it?

Not much new information is available on the site. I think they accept 34-36 students.

Has anyone received an interview notification yet? I am pulling the pieces together to put in an application. Best of luck to everyone applying.

Just got all of my application officially submitted. Once you apply to uncg and they receive your letters and transcripts, they will send a link to the Raleigh School of Nursing site to create an account and add additional info. Shout out if anyone gets an interview. I talked with them and it sounds like a first come first serve for scheduling interview. Good luck!

Awesome! I guess I better press the gas petal and get all of my information in. I have my CCRN, which is required for everyone but I am going back and forth about whether I should take the CMC to strengthen my application. Best wishes to everyone. I am looking to have all of my information submitted by mid to the end of September.

Got an interview! Its a first come first serve as far as scheduling. Looks like they do a presentation of the program and then do the interviews.

Yay! Congratulations to you! Best wishes and keep us posted. What day did you schedule your interview for?

Thanks! Its November 1st. I visited the campus and the interviews seem pretty easy going compared to the ones I've been too. Seems like more personal than clinical questions.

Good luck to you, let us know when you get an interview as well!

I am still working on my RSNA application. I have a question about classes and clinicals for anyone who can help me. Would it be more advantageous to live in Greensboro or Raleigh? I know that classes are in Greensboro and clinicals are in the Raleigh area. I just wanted to know what the best move would be as I look ahead to the future. Thanks everyone!

If you got in I would live in Raleigh. When I visited the campus the professor said you do all your classes there. I think there are UNC-G classes but they are online. I asked where most people live and she said near the campus building. Good Luck!
