Raleigh School of Nurse Anesthesia Fall 2018

Published

Just starting a thread for anyone who has applied to RSNA for Fall 2018. I had my interview last week and am still waiting to hear. Has anyone heard anything yet?

I have my interview tomorrow!!! How was your interview?? What kinds of questions??

You'll be okay! Just know your stuff about the type of ICU you work in!

Yea, you will be fine! They want to get to you know you as a person and not just as a nurse which is nice. They asked about what kind of support I had from family/friends, how we had been saving up to pay for it while I'm not working, ect. They will ask you questions specific to your ICU in regards to your nursing background.

I had one last week as well and still waiting to hear something, it's definitely stressful waiting and checking the mail every day to find nothing lol as far as the interview they are great I think they want you to do well just don't talk about anything you don't truly know inside and out :)

So if we do not hear back this week, does this mean we did not get in?

No, I don't think that's what it means. I have heard of people hearing after a few weeks.

Okay. Hopefully after the last set of interviews which are next Wednesday and Thursday we will hear.

I interviewed last year on the very last day and found out I was waitlisted that following week. I heard what they do is take the top 2-3 per group and go ahead and offer admission then go back through the other applications and fill the spots from there

Did they say how many they were interviewing all together? That makes sense about them taking the top 2-3 per group.

They didn't but each interview group usually has about 12-15 people and they have around 6 interview days I think. Im not 100% sure about the 2-3 people, just something that I had heard

Hello. I interviewed this week, waiting to hear. Did anyone get asked if they've attended any other CRNA schools? Thought that was odd as it was on the application

What I find a little weird is when schools ask you where else are you applying? Or are you applying to other schools in general. It always catches me a little off-guard.
