Raleigh School of Nurse Anesthesia 2019 cohort

Nursing Students SRNA

Published

Hi all. Starting a thread for those interviewing at Raleigh School of Nurse Anesthesia fall 2019 cohort. Hope to hear from some of you who are interviewing or already have. My interview is next Thursday Nov. 8th! If anyone has some insight, it would be most appreciated. I worked with a couple of nurses who are currently attending Raleigh and they been very helpful prepping for the process.

Me Too!!! I'm anxious to hear something.

I'm impatiently waiting as well, lol.

Just out of curiosity, where does everyone plan to stay WHEN they get in?

I'm not sure if you were there the same day I was but that was literally my first question. I still have no idea. I'm leaning towards the Raleigh/Apex area depending on where my husband works.

Today at the interview they said we should hear back by 12/3 so everyone from last week should be hearing soon hopefully!

The student that was there today said majority of her class lives in Raleigh since most of the clinical sites are there. But she said either place you'll have to commute at some point.

I also interviewed earlier this week and anxiously waiting. I was taking a look at where all the clinical sites are on the map and the majority are near Raliegh, but then you have 1 near Greensboro, 1 near the coast, and 1 down south. I am thinking between Chapel Hill/Durham and Raleigh area. Like they had mentioned, we only have class 1-2 days a week the first semester and than 1 time a week after that, so I think being about an hour away from Greensboro is a safe bet.

I was thinking about getting a fifth wheel and staying at a RV park between Raleigh and Greensboro. There are some nice ones out there.

Still no word for anyone? I know they said it would be a couple of weeks, but I'm getting antsy!

I interviewed on the 8th, I know they said before December 4th but man oh man I was hoping before thanksgiving, since last year it seemed like people got responses sooner! Woooo sahhh

I hope everyone has had a great Thanksgiving. Remember, no checking emails until Monday, lol.

Anyone heard anything yet?
