How about Rae Ann Cleveland. I heard it was a small place and are hiring. Concerned about it being so close to the projects though....I have a new car. Anyone have positive or negative experiences there? I have had 3 LTC positions past 8 months and do not want to get into another situation. Seems like, just because I am a male nurse everyone needs me to lift everyone while I am trying to pass meds. Gets frustrating after a while. I am not a lifting machine. I am a NURSE who happens to be a male!!!!

I worked there as an aid and saw many illegal and disgusting things take place. I would stay far away. PM me if you want to know more.
Thanks for the info. I will try emailing you. I don't think I am permitted to do so yet, but I will try.
If it doesn't work, try me at my email address: [email protected]. I have stories about that place that would make your skin crawl.

Have worked at the cleveland facility for years. Fantastic care, incredible staff. Lots of changes recently, all for the better. Higher acuity levels, some people hate change. 5 star ratings and deficiency free surveys! try that sometime!
If you dont work there anymore, then it means that you were probably the problem.
You must not be much of a Gero-psych nurse. find a different specialty. you need to have great compassion to care for difficult patients.
If you had better attention to detail, you'd know I was in nursing school. I do have compassion I reported what I felt to be abuse and neglect and left the facility for greener pastures when I saw no changes were made. I want no part of their coverups and neglect.
You probably shouldnt be there if you cant handle the gero-psych population. You have to have a great calling for compassion and care.
It was reported and unsubstantiated. You obviously need more schooling.
I'm done with this conversation, I know what I saw during my employment and was trying to warn the poor guy posting about my experience there. Have a lovely day.

Its okay to state YOUR feelings/experience with this facility but we cross the line when we personalize it.
Thanks guys....sounds like more investigating might be in order prior to taking the job.
