Rady's Children's Hospital San Diego orientation... INFO please?!?

U.S.A. California

Published

Hi i'm interested in applying to the new grad orientation at Children's Hospital in February 08.

I wanted to know how they structure their programs, the hours, the pay, just about everything you can think of.

Also what you think about the hospital and any other hospital with pedes.

THANKS SO MUCH!!

I did my peds there and they have the best cafeteria out of all the hospitals ive been to! :)

I have worked there for a little while. I did not start there as a new grad but have heard good things about the program. One of the biggest problems is that they make you rotate for at least a year. It is like 6 weeks days 6 weeks nights. The pay is comparable to other hospitals in San Diego. The management is alright but nothing great.

Hi

I know this was posted a while ago, but in Oct. I am going to Rady's for an interview for the RN residency program. Has anyone gone through it or does anyone have any information about the hospital? I do not live in California so any info would be helpful thanks so much!

Hey,

I am going for an interview in October for the RN residency program too. I applied to the ED. Which unit are you interviewing for? I would also greatly appreciate any information on this program and the interviewing process as well. Thanks!

Hey

I am going in October for an interview as well. I am interviewing for the orthopedic unit. Good luck with your interview - let me know if you heard anything about the interview process etc.!

Thanks!
