Rady Children's New Grad RN Residency Spring 2020

Updated:   Published

Hi Everyone,

With the applications coming to a close yesterday, just thought I would start a thread for the Rady Children's Hospital New Grad RN application that just opened up for the Spring 2020 cohort. Good luck to all who applied!

Any updates for anyone applying to ER spots?

Hi All! Any updates for NICU?

Specializes in NICU.

@nursevee I applied to NICU as well and haven't heard anything yet. Called HR and they said they have "identified top candidates", however if we haven't heard back yet that there is still a chance we will be. Good luck to all, fingers crossed!

I just received my rejection email today. ?

Rady is all about their mission and "CARES" values. Include those in your answers. Also, take your time in the interviews. Ask them to repeat questions if you need to, a lot of the questions have multiple parts and you are scored on your answers so you don't want to miss anything.

A lot of personality/behavioral questions.

Feel free to message if you have more specific questions, I work in their PICU but know about the new grad program.

Specializes in CCRN, Neuro, Surgical, Trauma ICU.
