Rady Children's New Grad Residency Fall 2022

Published

Hi everyone! I just wanted to create a thread so we can keep each other updated on the Rady Children's Residency application process. I applied July 13th and I know the application period closed on the 22nd of July. Good luck!

I'm not sure how they were informed, but maybe it's just internal applicants first? IDK. Anyone else heard anything??

Hi everybody I applied July 18th and I haven't head anything yet either ?

dang! I haven’t received word yet either! do you know if they were informed through phone call, email, or the portal?

Hey all, I interviewed with the critical care units (Peds ED, PICU, CTICU, all except the NICU) during the last 2.5 weeks. My interviews were conducted in person and I was informed via phone and email toward the beginning of August. I am an external applicant and don't have any extra certifications aside from BLS. I believe most of the critical care tracks have completed their interviews, but I could certainly be wrong about that. My references have already been contacted with the skills survey. Hope you all receive some updates soon, I know the waiting is tough. Best of luck, everyone!

Oh cool congrats to you! How come your interview didn't include the NICU? I'm guessing they are done interviewing since it's been so long...

So no one else heard back from Radys??

Yah I still haven't heard anything but I applied for medical and heme/onc. is there someone we could contact? even if I didn't get an interview id still like to know LOL instead of just waiting around

I interviewed for the medical unit about 3 weeks ago, submitted my references, and I’m still waiting to hear back. Has anyone heard back from this unit?

I also interviewed for medical (about 2 weeks ago), submitted skills survey, and haven’t heard anything either. Hoping we hear back this week

Has anyone interviewed for hem/onc? I interviewed a couple of weeks ago and haven’t heard anything, which seems to be the boat that everyone is in.

I interviewed for the medical and surgical unit and have yet to hear back from either one!

That's interesting that your interviews were in person because I had 3 interviews and they were all over zoom!
