Hello! With the Spring Cohort Application opened on Sept 18th, I wanted to start a topic here! For everyone to start off: share what units you are applying for! I will be doing the PICU & ED.

Does anyone know why NICU is not on the list of participating units? Super bummed!

I didn't see it on the participation list this time :(. best bet is to apply for PICU

here are all the units available  for this application :

Cardiothoracic ICU, Pediatrics ICU 
Child & Adolescent Psych Services, Medical Unit, Medical Behavioral Unit (MBU), Hematology/Oncology (IP), Surgical Unit
Emergency Care Center

They will probably reach out in about 3 months.

They hired for Spring NICU spots during the last application pool because there were no open spots for fall. I don't know how many were hired (usually ICUs have like 2-4 spots). My guess is the next time they hire will be in Spring for the Summer 2024 cohort.

I'm from Cincinnati! So I really don't know how competitive it is or much about it! Figured I'd just apply and see if it works out.

Yes I graduate in December so I'm just looking at all the other cohorts over in California too! Hopefully I get accepted and then would move there ??
