Radiology Tech Programs in GA

Hi,

I am pretty sure I want to go the RN route but I have also been fascinted by imaging so since I am still researching schools and want to weigh all options now that I am lucky to be lucky enough to attend a full time program in the medical fiend can anyone tell me if they know of any accreditted Radiology Tech. Schools in the Atlanta area. Ideally it would be through a public university (I have the HOPE) ir a pricate University and then my last choice would be tech or voc. schools, only becasue I am about to have my Associates si I dont want to miss out on obtaining my Bachelors.

Not sure about the Atlanta area but my husband is enrolled at Albany Technical college finishing up his rad tech program and it is an associates degree program. From my knowledge I believe that all of the techincal colleges in GA offer it as either a diploma or associates program depending on the core you take.

I think Emory has a bachelor completion program but you have to have already been an RT. I may be wrong though.

Thank you so much for doing all of that research for me, JK I hope you didnt liike all of that up just for me! Regardless, thank you bery much. Its amazes me me hoe the mejority of programs are located far from the Atl. Meto Area. i live in marietta, just off I-75 so I can ger to a lot of places faily wasily regrdess of if they are N. or S. of here and I wonder it the Grady one is going to consinue since they will propapble be closing hte doors on that hospital all together.
