R net testing???

Published

Hi all,

I was just wondering if any of your schools participated in R net testing. It is kind of like a mock nclex...or so they say. If so how did you do and was it comparable to the scores you took on boards? thanks I scored in the high range and am scheduled for boards on aug 2nd.

Hi Jami:

I'm a South Jerseyan too! I'm graduating Burlington Co. LPN school on July 20. Our Arnett test (that's how my instructor spelled it, I don't know if that's right) is scheduled for Mon July 18. Will let you know how I did. Good luck on your NCLEX!

No, no husband/no kids/no job yet & worried about all! I was accepted at your school but they wanted us to have health insurance and I had just lost my coverage so I went to BCIT instead. (your school has a rep for being the toughest & best though)

Good luck with your boards, I'm sure your hard work this past year will pay off for you & your son!

It is a great accomplishment to even be accepted there,as they have a strict application process. But your school is great too! I lost my insurance 1/2 way through failed to tell of the change in coverage. Was your school at the LPN convention? did you participate in HOSA? TTYL-

Sincerely, Jami

No HOSA. We were at the student meeting at the convention in Cherry Hill and we went to an LPN forum in AC. We were the ones in ceil blue.

We had a lot of trouble finding clinical sites this year because at our usual hospital OLOL in Willingboro the nurses were on strike. We wound up going all the way to Robert Wood Johnson in Hamilton and then Virtua in Mount Holly. Did you get to go to Cooper? That's where we wanted to go.

hey we were the ones in white. I was the one who spoke on behalf of the school- small world. No cooper ;o( though I hear the students this year got cooper. We had kennedy of washington township and kennedy at stratford. We also did a tour at Lakeland for mental health and voorhees peds for peds.well let me know how u do on your tests kit - Jami Ps good luck;o)

where can I get a sample test of the Arnett test, before my class takes it this first semester. Southern Illinois!

We took the Arnett about a month before graduation, and everyone thought they bombed. I was the first one finished, my computer cut off at 65 (I think). I scored in the top third, and "passed" the test. At my school, if you didn't pass the Arnett, your diploma was held and you were required to take a NCLEX prep course. (A lot of people were VERY unhappy about that!) If you scored well on the Arnett, you should pass the NCLEX.

I take my boards on 9/21, and am doing an online prep course on NCSNB.org. They're the folks who write the NCLEX, so I thought that would be a good place to prepare.
