If you have a permanent tax home, then you can take the per diem part of the stipend, which is anywhere from $50-80 per day, depending on what the state allows. If you do not have a permanent tax home, meaning a place you maintain while traveling and pay rent/mortgage for, then at tax time, you could be in trouble. I have worked with OA and I love them. I usually take the housing they provide and then take the per diem stipend since I still own a home.
