Hey everyone! Thought I would start a thread for Quinnipiac's ABSN program starting in fall 2018. Looking forward to hearing from other applicants!

I visited the campus last month - it's beautiful!

Does anyone currently work within YNHH ?

Hi Everyone!

I also applied to the ABSN program for Fall 2018. I believe they make all their decisions in March...so almost there. You receive a letter in the mail if you have been accepted or not. I applied last year, and unfortunately did not get in. When I inquired the reason why, they tell me they cannot tell me, as they have many so many applicants.

I graduated with a B.S. in Business Management in 2012 with a 3.4 GPA, and have zero medical experience. I am enrolled in a CNA program but not a CNA yet. My pre req grades are:

A&P I: A

A&P II: A

Micro: A-

Stats: A

Last year they did not require references, but this year they do. Hopefully those help to see who the applicant is as a person, instead of just grades and experience. Fingers crossed!!

when in march did you find out last year? the anticipation of the letter is killing me!

Wow that's scary. U have ALL As and a 3.4 gpa and didn't get in!!!??? That scares me

I know on at the previous info session the director of the program said they will try getting decisions out earlier this year, but she also mentioned that she was going to South America on an educational trip with her daughter and other students form the program for I think 2 or 3 weeks, so I wouldn't be surprised if it was delayed a little because of that. I hope they are just not updating anymore and one of these days it will just switch to letters on their way :D

I spoke with someone today in Admissions that said my application is still being reviewed but no decision has been made. They been telling me that for 3 weeks. So who knows

super frustrating. when I called last week they told me the same thing. application in review we should find out in the next coming weeks (mid march)
