Quinnipiac 2021 CRNA

Published

Hi everyone,

I sent in an application to Quinnipiac in early June and was wondering if anyone has heard from them that may have applied earlier since applications opened in February.

I have been an CICU nurse for 2 years with a 3.95 GPA from undergrad.

@RN_1230227 & @LiveBreatheCRNA goodluck post your interviews. But did you interview live or via zoom? And do mind sharing helpful tips on the interview? I mean was it more clinical or get to know you better kind of questions. Any written test?

@Rnonsteroid, my interview was through zoom. Questions were geared more toward behavioral/get to know you situation. I can’t give specific regarding the interview but just be confident in your answers, and do something fun to alleviate stress/anxiety prior to your interview. You got this!

@LiveBreatheCRNA Thanks. But I wasn't really looking for specifics. just wanting to know the basics. Good luck too!

I got interviewed today. Really hard to tell wether I did good or terrible LOL. They will be interviewing more this week. Good luck @Propofolpapi on yours!

Approximately how long did it take for you to get an email response from the time you submitted your application completely? Mine was finalized last Friday and I am in the dreaded "sit and wait" period.

It was through zoom, no clinical questions for me. It took about 3 months for me to get an invite after submitting the application however, I applied pretty early. Good luck everyone!

My application was submitted the first week of July, I heard back for an interview July 31st, so about 3wks wait.

-Anyone else have been contacted?

Hi everyone! Firstly, good luck to anyone applying and interviewing. I had an interview on September 4. I sent in my application on August 24th and heard back via email maybe a week later.

Interview was through Zoom!

Hi, thank you and of course!

2.5 years in the ICU at a major Level 1 center (STICU for 1.5 years, currently in CTICU for a year now). 3.67 undergrad GPA. CCRN certified. Decided not to take the GRE this year, I only applied to non-GRE schools!

Hello, thanks!

WOW! you ve got quiet some good experience there. Good luck once again!  There class size is kind of discouraging. They only take 12 students? which makes it even more competitive.

Thank you, you as well! I totally agree but trying to find a silver lining in the whole process. I feel that it's the least we can do for ourselves especially after everything that happened this year and STILL deciding to move forward with applying to CRNA programs haha
