  1. super late to the party but I also got waitlisted as well
  2. I emailed someone from graduate admissions. It’s looking like we probably won’t hear until January at this point given the number of applicants and having some time for the adcom to do thorough holistic review. Talk about anxiety ?
  3. Yeah I was shocked considering they allotted 30 minutes per interview. I gauged that early on in the interview as well. Oh well, TBD right? Best of luck!
  4. Glad this thread is open! I am applying as well. I do have two questions if anyone could confirm.. 1) Do you need a current active NY nursing license to complete the NursingCAS? I sent in a NY application and it is processing at the moment (I'm from out of state). And as far as the required shadowing, most of the hospitals and surgery centers in my area are not allowing shadowing because of COVID. Anyone else in this situation as well? Thank you!
  5. I heard back later last week, I got waitlisted from the program. A little bummed but keeping the faith. Best of luck to everyone else!
  6. I was definitely nervous but I think it went well! It was very "get to know you and your nursing practice" to put it vaguely. They said we'll find out around december.
  7. Hi everyone, congratulations to those who have received an invitation and finger crossed for those who haven't heard back yet! I will be interviewing with them on Nov 4th..anyone have insight on interviews? Is it more personal or clinical based?
  8. I agree with this as well. I had a very pleasant experience overall with the interview as well. Waiting patiently, also a hopeful over here even though it's highly competitive. Best of luck to everyone else interviewing! Early November can't come soon enough
  9. Thank you this timeline was helpful. Still waiting over here!
  10. Hi guys! Glad someone started this thread, I've been trying to find more information about this program. I am interviewing on 10/13 and someone I know in the program said that the interview was a mix of personal and clinical questions, wondering if you guys thought it was a good balance between both or if I should be focusing more on clinical questions. And how was the day? Was it kind of a 1:1 thing or were you guys with other applicants as well? I totally understand if you have to be vague, just trying to gauge the vibe so I can better prepare!
  11. Took the words right out of my mouth! But honestly I wish I interviewed with the professors first. Best of luck to you, it's a long waiting game for the both of us!
  12. I had to dig into my junk mail I had a hunch and it was there! LOL classic but what a relief
  13. Gotcha, did you receive the link from the program manager? I might call them since I still haven’t received anything
  14. Me too, I emailed to ask as well yesterday and no reply this morning I’m a little nervous LOL, did you hear back?
  15. Hey! I submitted my application on August 28 and I will be interviewing in October 6!
