Quinnipiac ABSN 2020

Hello all! The application cycle is open and I wanted to start a thread for anyone applying so I can stop re-reading previous years threads, haha. My application is pretty much finished but I'm waiting for this semester to end so I can add my A&P II grade to the app. How is everyone doing with their apps? Also, any previous or current students input would be great :-). Good luck everyone!

Talked to someone from admissions yesterday about the status of application decisions. They said we can either hear back this week or within the next 3-4 weeks. A huge range, but depends on rolling admissions. I applied like January 2nd or something. I’m worried I screwed myself over by waiting so long!!

Did they say if they'll be sent electronically from the QU Portal or through mail?

Hello Everyone!

I applied to Qunnipiac’s ABSN program for 2020 as well! I am so excited to hear back from them. I’ve been feeling this anticipation since I went to the information session in the Summer of 2019. I know we’re not due to hear back until March, but I keep catching myself checking my email/application more than I probably should! Haha.. This acceptance news has the potential to be so life changing for all of us! I’m finishing up my pre-requiestes now. I have worked on the clerical side of healthcare for many years and I discovered my passion for nursing while working in the PACU as a patient/family liaison and some indirect experiences in an ICU with both of my grandmothers passing within 6 months of eachother. Through my experiences, I’ve learned that nursing is such a rewarding lifestyle through the good and the hard times.

Hi Everyone, I think they usually reach out with the decision mid March according to the last cohort of 2019. Let's hope for the best!

Yes, from previous years, I saw that someone heard as early as March 7th. Friday’s seem to be the majority of decision release dates.. fingers crossed!

Hey all!
I called yesterday and was told that Admissions hasn't started looking at applications yet. I was told that we will hear back mid-march.
