Does anyone know when the acceptance letters are sent out for the fall2011 RN program? I didn't make it into UMass which I knew would happen.. so I'm banking on this.

Im so mad at myself for not getting a 75 at my first nursing program.. missed it by a point so they wouldnt let me continue to the 2nd semester

congrats!! i have to take a history course but that's it.. this semester ive been taking classes that i like and that are related to psychology cause i've been done for a year with all my pre and co reqs. i need to know what the schedule looks like ASAP for daycare!!!

a great and the CHEAPEST cpr course around is at the caritas in dorchester. it was so easy.. i took it there last year but now i forget how long its valid for. gotta find that damn carrd!

Where does everyone live? Maybe we can set up study group. All the nurses I work with say to get Littman stethoscope. Heard it's expensive but woth it. Also, get own drug book with Iv meds included. Like pocket size.

Try a few different brands out if possible because it really depends on the person.. i absolutely HATE littmans!! i couldn't hear a single thing with any littman. prestige stethescopes are my favorite.. and they're an arm and a leg cheaper than littmans.

Drug books- do you have a smart phone?? because i bought a davis book for my last program (required one) which came with a free code for my smart phone- and it was always in my pocket (amazing for clinical). and if not, there are tons of free APPS for drug guides on droid phones. the school also might require drug cards.. wait until they tell you and you can always go to Borders with their 40% off coupons!

i live in dedham btw..study groups can be a great thing. my last school, no one wanted to do a study group at the days/times i could do them (i have a child so its reallllly hard for me to meet) so i missed out.
