Quincy College Spring 2018

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hello,

I have applied to Quincy College's ASN part-time program for Spring 2018. I was wondering if anyone that has completed this program before could give me some insight. If I were to get in, does the program start right at the beginning of January or towards the end? Also, they said that we would be hearing if we got in or not around mid-October. Does anyone know when they usually do the orientation? Is it in October or is it closer to January? Thanks in advance!

Also if anyone else applied to the program and they start hearing back, please let me know!

Went to my spam as well

Thats crazy your teas are great, I will consider applying elsewhere with those teas scores you should be good , so sorry to hear

Nothing in my spam, and still no email yet :(

And you guys definitely had better grades than me so I probably didn't get in either

Hi guys, sorry I haven't responded I haven't checked this in a while. I got an email but it was sent to an email address that I didn't think i had ever associated with Quincy. I didn't get an email on my Quincy college address which I thought was strange.

The email address they have on my bio is wrong. And it probably bounced back to them cuz instead of @aol.com, they have it entered as @a0l.com. Ugh.. I guess I gotta wait for snail mail

Good luck , keep the hope

I have the Nursing tab and clicked, it says congratulations and I was accepted at the Plymouth campus! I still have no mailed letter or email. I never would have even known it it wasn't for this thread. Very stressful wish it was a bit more organized good luck everyone! I still want the letter!

I am going to try to get into another program. At my age, waiting another year is tough. See what happens. All the best to you ladies on this journey:)

Hi did you apply to rn or lpn2rn?

I applied to the part time ASN. Apparently, the recommended course are actually requirements. I was lacking intro computers....I am baffled, as to why they would not designate these "recommended" courses, as requirements.

I didn't have English Comp 2, Intro to Computers or History. When I applied I got the vibe from an adviser that those should be completed or at least in process to have any chance. I signed up at the very last minute to take 2 of the 3 classes online. It was a risk taking them because it would have been a waste if I didn't get in; they aren't cheap! Anyone looking to apply in the future should try to complete the recommended classes as well to give yourself an edge.
