Hello,
I wanted to know if anyone could tell me what the pre-reqs are to get into the nursing program at Quincy College. I am currently taking classes at Bristol Community College and even though there are only a few pre-reqs to get into the program, there are a total of 10 classes that they suggest you take to be competitive getting into the program.
It's doubtful that I would get into Fall 2010 at BCC as I am taking A&P I this semester. I don't know if I want to wait another 1 1/2 yrs to start nursing school.
If you went through Quincy College Nursing Program, what did you think of it?
Thanks for your help!!

The only pre-reqs for the Quincy College Program are AP1 & Chem. Those are only the bare minimum you need but its always smart to take other classes that count toward the program that way once you get in you can focus on the core nursing classes. I applied for the program this yea after taking ap1 & chem in the fall. I'm currently in ap2 and will start the program in sept with it complete.
Thanks jngraham. I'm taking AP1 now. Do you know if I'm still able to apply even those it's not completed yet but will be before Fall?
I dont think so. I'm pretty sure they need to be completed w/ a grade of C or better before you can apply. You'd be done in time for their part time program though. The applicantions for that are due in June. But I think they only have it at their Plymouth Campus and its evenings.
Thanks for the info! I appreciate it!
