Has anyone heard back as to whether they got accepted into the part time RN program at Quincy College for January 2014 - I am soo nervous - I only got a 71 % on the TEAS V exam but my GPA is about 3.85 - wondering if they take everything into consideration ???

Got accepted!!:)

The part time schedule is lecture one night, usually Tuesday, from 4pm-9. To start, there are 2 labs from either 4-6 or 6-8, you get to pick. Then, a few weeks in you start at clinical from 230-1030 and drop one lab. Hope that helps! FYI, spring semester starts right after new years and fall semester starts after the 4th of July!

How was the financial aid? do they cover summer classes? did you have to make any major payments?.......this is what im worried about

I have a prior degree, so I'm only eligible for loans- but I've never had a problem in that department. I would suggest contacting financial aid and perhaps FAFSFA and MEFA way in advance so you can get the ball rolling.

Thanks! One more question, I received my acceptance letter july 24th....if an applicant did not receive a letter by now does this mean they did not get in? Thanks in advance.

That, I have no idea about. I'm sure a wait list will eventually be formed, perhaps after the deposit deadline? I would not say it means anything definitively either way.

My pleasure!

Hi I just got accepted for jan 2014. Can you please tell me how was the schedule for your first year

You have 3 days per week in the PT program: clinical from 230-1030pm (various days), lecture from 4-9pm (Tuesday or Thursday) and a lab (Monday) which will eventually drop off- they split the class between a 4-6pm and a 6-8pm. They let us request which one worked best for us also. If I recall correctly clinical didn't start up until February. Hope that helps!!
