Quick Results are available in most States; if yours participates, results are available 48 hours after completion of your test. NOT 48 business hours. Not "except for....". 48 hours.
HOWEVER, if your results are on hold, they can stay on hold (not available for QR) for anywhere from 24-72 hours. MOST holds are lifted within the time frame needed to get Quick Results, but sometimes....it takes longer.
If you had an issue with the palm scanner, then it might be longer before you can get results. It is NOT UNUSUAL for someone who has had to take multiple swipes with the scanner to see "hold" instead of results being ready. Don't panic, it's quite common for that delay. Either way, it's consecutive hours, not business hours, that are used for counting/timing purposes.
Goodluck!!
Still nothing! I'm freaking out! It has been over 48 hours! What is going on?!
First, calm down. Freaking out does nothing for you, and helps no one else, either.
Because your results were on hold (likely because of the palm scan), "Quick Results" for you are taking longer than 48 hours.
When you attempt to pay the eight bucks and see the results, what message are you getting? Does it still say "on hold", or does it say "unavailable at this time"?

Hello- Just wondering are there quick results on weekends? Took my exam Friday (Ohio Test Taker) and was done around 3:30. So I should get my quick results today (Sunday) around 3:30? 48 hours? Or is it business hours? Also, when I did the new PVT, it said my results are on hold. I think its because I was having problems with the palm scanner? Wouldn't read my palms 2 or 3 times on each hand. Could that be why the hold is in place? Any help would be great! Thanks!
