Hi everybody I just want to know how long will it take for me to receive the new york rn license? I just saw the result today. Lastly will they release it even if I still dont have the SSN if not what can I do? I'm really financially challenge and I need a job.

NY does not require a Social Security Number for issuing you a license. As soon as you see your license posted on your website, you can print out a copy of that.

Do you have documents that permit you to work? Since you mentioned that you do not have a SSN#?

hi suzanne,

i already know my license #, i saw it in NY-BON & i also received my certificate 10 days after i passed the exam. but do they still issue a card type license i.d. which i can place inside my wallet?.. (this maybe a silly question) but need to know. and how soon will i expect to receive it?

Yes, they will issue you a hard license, but remember that it is usually sent by surface mail so it can take some time.
