So I was supposed do do a survey of the nurses on the floor for an assignment but I forgot. If anyone could share some thoughts that would really help me out.

I need a list of things you would like to see researched relating to nursing. Any ideas would be great!!! Thanks.

Retention issues, personal health issues...for example, how many nurses smoke despite seeing the effects of smoking on the job; stressors.

Are higher nurse patient ratios associated with a higher rate of patient falls?

What is the most important working condition related to nurse retention > 2 years?

How do the floor nurses' perceptions of working conditions compare with the nurse manager's perceptions?

Does a nurse-run shelter based clinic decrease the number of ER visits by homeless shelter occupants?

Those are just a few I could come up with. Good luck with your assignment.
