I am now studying for boards. my school requires that we turn in 3000 questions before they will send off our paperwork. i am battling with whether or not i should just do questions to hand them in quicker or do study mode and then questions. i like study mode because i need to brush up on areas that i am weak in, but i am spending so much time studying that i am not actually really doing questions.
i am using Saunders 3rd ed. i use the cd. i love study mode. do you all think its necessary to review as i am? what are you all or what have you all done?

Don't sacrifice preparation for the sake of speed. If you feel underprepared and feel like the study mode is helping, I'd stick with it.

Hi:
It kind of depends on you. I found it to be a useful studying technique to do questions as well as study mode. The reason being that sometimes, particularly while taking NCLEX, you kind of have to know how to answer the question even if you aren't exactly sure of the content.
I had studied endlessly in order to pass the HESI exit exam so I was pretty knowledgeable about content, but when I took the NCLEX, there were several questions that I had absolutely no idea about. I felt that by doing so many questions prior to (about 3000), it helped to be able to answer those types of questions for me.
Best wishes,
Carla
thanks guys
i am trying to develop a plan since i have about 4 weeks off before my review class. i am trying to do all content areas in study mode, then i am gonna work on the NSCBN test plan and use study mode for according to the areas covered on their test plan. after my review class, i will jsut do questions until i take boards.
does anyone know if study mode questions can be printed from the Suanders cd?
