Questions regarding license being issued for new nurse in Missouri. PLEASE HELP

So I took the NCLEX 3 times now. I failed the first two times and used all 6 hours and answered 265 questions each time.

Finally, on my 3rd try... I "unofficially" passed after another 6 hours and 265 questions.

I tested May 12th, 2016. I received my quick results on May 14th, 2016 and finally got the pass I have been dying to see for 5 months.

The board said they mailed my letter to me with my official results on the 13th which was a Friday. Today is the 18th, and I still have not received my letter, nor have I had my license uploaded to Nursys.

HR at my hospital needs my license to be posted by Friday so they can start me as an RN in the ER on the 22nd. If they don't upload my license information then I can't start for another 2 weeks.

I talked to a lady at the board today and she asked for my name and DOB, and told me that the results were mailed the 13th and I needed to wait for the results. I asked if anything was wrong with them, and she said "no you are fine" and then said "You should have your license uploaded by the end of the week"

I called back to ask if maybe the reason I haven't gotten the letter is because I moved 3 weeks before the exam. I filled out a change of address form with the Postal Service and figured it would get forwarded to my new address. I should have filled out a change of address form with the board as well, but that was far from what was on my mind.

So the new lady I was speaking with said that I needed to wait for my letter before the results would get posted online... But my question is, if the letter should have been here by now, shouldn't my license be posted on Nursys?!

Is there some how or some rhyme or reason that I failed a 3rd time even after I got an unofficial pass from pearson?!

I am literally freaking out here... Everyone else in my class of 79 people have gotten their license uploaded a day or two after getting their quick results, some even that day. All have gotten their letter within 3 days of testing...

Should I be freaking out? Am I just expecting something awful to happen and somehow still fail even after getting the unofficial pass result?!

Has anyone ever gotten an unofficial pass result and still failed?

Something doesn't feel right.

And this is why I don't really mind that Illinois no longer sends your license via snail mail. We can pull our license up, and print it right then and there.

None of that helps you, however. I could be mistaken, but I seem to remember that a license would not be forwarded to a new address. It's a security measure.

Your letter could be in limbo, or bouncing around the BON somewhere. What did they say when you called and asked about the address change??

You probably should have made changing your address with the BON your first priority.

Yeah I should of, but it was the last thing on my mind with everything that has been going on.

They said to fill out a change of address form and fax it tomorrow and they will just mail it again. Hopefully will reach by Friday.

However, my question is this... Can my license # be posted to the website on Nursys before I get the letter?

Since the letter has been sent, and should have already been here, shouldn't the license be uploaded already on nursys?

Maybe they are just behind on getting it uploaded because all of the nursing schools just graduated the week of my test and they probably have a million applications to sort through?
