I have several questions to ask below.
1. If I have NCLEX-RN licensed in California, which other states can I work in the hospitals?
2. If my California RN license expires over 8 years, how can I active RN license to avoid to re-take the NCLEX-RN exam? Do I have to work in the hospital to active RN license? What is the exact meaning of activation about the RN license? I'm not sure about it.
3. I was thinking if I pass the NCLEX-RN exam, I can get permanent RN license. However, it might be wrong information. What is difference between permanent and temporary license?
4. When do I have to renew the license?
Thank you for advising!

No CA license only allows you to practice in CA and I think only other exception would be government jobs. If you move to another state you still have to meet that state's requirements for endorsement but because the NCLEX is a national exam for the majority of nurses they do not have to resit the exam again
