75 Questions on NCLEX, pass or fail?

I see lots of posts about passing or failing with 75 questions, just curious what the stats are. I would like to think that nursing school prepares us enough that those who get 75 are mostly passing?

I took the NCLEX-RN exam September 8, 2011 (Thursday) in CA. The questions are hard, I got 8 SATA, no calculations, a lot of priority and delegation questions and medications. I tried the Pearson VUE trick 15 minutes after my exam and got a good pop up. CA don't participate in quick results. OH i am still waiting for my name to show up at the CA BON website till now. I am still hoping that I passed the exam. Good luck to all! :up::):redpinkhe

Took my NCLEX on 9/9/11. When the test stopped at 75 questions I was in shock. Was sure I failed as I felt I was guessing on so many of the questions, but I ended up passing! Good luck to all the future test takers. Oh BTW, the PVT worked for me.

Congratulations PavementRN!!! My test stopped at 75 questions too. Did you take it in CA too? I am still waiting for the result.

Nope. I took it in Connecticut.

I am so happy! Checked the CA BRN website and I found out this morning that I passed! Yay!!! The PVT worked for me too. To God be the glory.

I took my N-Clex yesterday 09/15/11 and the computer cut off at 75 questions, tried the PVT and got a good pop up but I am still worried. I got alot of infection control, delegation, priority and multi selection questions. No results yet but I will keep you posted. :confused:

Stopped at 75 questions I was so scared. The PVT does work got my results this morning from quick results and I PAAASSS!!!!!!!!! Thank God almighty.......

I am taking my NCLEX tomorrow morning at 10:00 (Texas) Soo is there any last minute things I should be looking over? Or if anyone could say a prayer or two.. maybe even three for me... That would be amazing! This is my third time to take nclex.. 1st time 75 questions.... 2nd time265 questions.. I am praying what they say is true 3rd time is the charm... (or something like that) I am starting to get anxious and freaking out.. Wondering if I have studying all the major points that I need to.. (Sigh) so overwhelmed..

I took the NCLEX-RN in July and passed with 75 questions! the chances are you passed!!
