205 questions!! I just wanna cry

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

I have taken my test earlier this morning, cut off at 205 questions. So I received every question. I studied for 3 months! & just going through my test questions. Thinking I studied for nothing! Even the topics I studied that were on there, was like I hadn't seen that topic at all if ever.

Theres no way to prepare! I was always pretty good at the delegation questions, walked into those on the NCLEX, I'm now questioning what patient I should see first.

I didn't cry on my way home but I cried when I saw my mom.

I keep checking for my results but I feel there's no way in hell I could of passed that exam. I studied with UWORLD & Kaplan & exam cram content. I even looked up success stories of people who passed with that many questions. I just feel I didn't know a thing, which is a common way to leave I've heard. Butttttt sheesh.

Hi,

When I took the NCLEX, mine shut off at the lowest amount possible, which I think was like 79 or something like that. I honestly thought that I had failed and had a panic attack in front of the computer. I took Unisom and slept through the next couple of days until I found that I passed. In other words, I understand the desperation.

There's really no way to know until you get the results. Nevertheless, if the worst outcome occurs, be proud of yourself for studying so hard and know that you will do better next time. Sometimes, it's just pure nerves. I graduated with a 3.6 from nursing school and failed my first attempt at the exit exam! Signed up and took it again right away and passed.

In all honesty, it sounds like you studied more than enough. If you have to take it again, just try to relax a couple of days before instead of studying and focus on breaking down the question / practice questions. Best of luck and my prayers are with you. xoxoxo

Thank you so much. my state participates in quick results, so I find out tomorrow I hope.

i really wish I could take a paper exam, computer test kill my nerves .

i passed my exit exam with literally the least amount that I could get wrong.
