The first step in getting approved for an H1B Visa is an offer of employment. If the offer is for a position as a specialized RN, you meet the qualifications based on your background experience as a nurse, and the position requires a BSN or higher, your Master's degree/NP training does not have a bearing on the approval of the visa. If the offer of employment is for a nurse practitioner and you possess all the required national and state certifications, you should also have no problem getting approved. These are all hypothetical...the bigger question is what your chances are of being offered a position in either roles.

Employer files for H1b not you, therefore as mentioned in previous post job offer needs to meet requirements and you need to be employed in that capacity

this may be a little off-topic, but if the position requires a Master's degree (like NP roles) you may be eligible for the EB2 visa, which, depending on your country of origin, may take less than a year for approval.
