Hi,
I am a senior in high school and had applied early action for some nursing schools that i have been interested in.
I have gotten accepted by UMASS Lowell, UMASS Dartmouth, University of Maine, and Elmira college, i am wondering about which nursing school has the best program, satff, connection to clinics and job opportunities after graduating.
So, basically which one is the best out of all four?
Please help, i need to make decisions as soon as possible...
thanks...

The most important aspect of a school is the ability of its nursing graduates to pass the NCLEX-RN. Check out the Mass nclex rates at this site National Council Licensure Examinations (NCLEX) by School - Health and Human Services - Mass.Gov it lists each school in Mass and the percentage of graduated individuals who passed the NCLEX their first time around. It goes back a few years so that you can see the trend (is its program getting better or worse). Of course you'll have to check the stats of those out-of-state colleges on other state websites, if available.

I agree, NCLEX pass rates are the most important. Second I would talk to current students and alums and see how the clinical placements are and how the networking is!
