Question about USN in Las Vegas

Published

Hi all-

I was just wanting to know if anyone has heard about USN? I have talked to some people about it and they pretty much have not heard about it... Only maybe two people. I submitted my App. today so hopefully I hear something soon. If anyone does know about it can you give so info. on it i.e. the interview, the clinicals, the faculty..? Please!

Thanks:wink2:

All I know is that they are ridiculously expensive, and all of their students graduate with 4.0's because you need to pass every exam with an 'A' -- however, they allow each student up to 3 times to take it. The school sounds kind of fishy to me. I've met a few students from there who seem to like it. I have my own opinions on the school based on the students I have met, but don't like to assume all the students are like those two.

They were under provisional accreditation and not sure if their NCLEX pass rates were high enough for full accreditation.

Each school has their pros and cons, so visit the school and speak with students. I would before forking out their tuition prices.

Thanks for the info., graduating with a 4.0 sounds nice, but I definitely will be continuously looking for more info. on the school because it is so new. They did just get their initial accreditation this spring from NLNAC, so that is a positive point. The students you met what was it about them through you off...?

Again Thanks!:nuke:
