That is one way as well as......

Examining one’s own behavior and doing one’s best to make messages clear, simple, and congruent help to facilitate trust between the nurse and the client. Trust is built in the nurse–client relationship when the nurse exhibits the following behaviors:

• Caring

• Openness

• Objectivity

• Respect

• Interest

• Understanding

• Consistency

• Treating the client as a human being

• Suggesting without telling

• Approachability

• Listening

• Keeping promises

• Honesty"

how do you think they affect trust. If someone seems available...that you are there to help them and you are reliable when you do....that would increase trust wouldn't it? versus someone aloof....not around and never does what you ask...right?

I'm getting deja vu... Didn't someone else already ask this question?

Yes.....I think they are in the same school but don't "see" each other.
