Hello,

I am new to this. I am hoping to find information about working in Italy at a US military base, preferably Caserma Ederle in Vicenza. When I googled "military base nursing Italy" this site came up, but I never found the specific reference. If any forum participant has worked as a civilian nurse at a US military base in Italy I would be glad to hear about their experience.

I have a total of 9 years experience, including Italy, Africa, Central America and the US. I am currently working full-time as a RN Clinical Nurse 3 in GI ENDO in a US hospital and studying in a RN to MSN program. I am European (not a US citizen) speak English, Italian, Spanish and French.

I look forward to hearing from other forum participants.

Good luck to you. Your post was buried in another persons introduction. I'll move it and hopefully you'll find an answer.

Thank you, Tweety, but to where will you move my post? Introductions? Perhaps I should have gone to the International forum?

Hi and welcome to the site

May be worth doing a search for Italy here in the International forum but you may find it hard to get work in a military base.

Good luck
