Hi, Im a graduate nursing studentfrom abroad and now in England. Right after graduation we moved here in Uk. Since im not a license nurse yet im looking for a job where i can practice my skill perhaps a nurse assistant maybe. I want to take an NClex exam but im nor sure if i can take that here in UK without RN license. My plan would be gain experience for a few years, save money then take NCLEX in California.... Or take nursing classes again here in UK but its to expensive here. Is there anyone here who can help my sitution???? pls help.

Hi,
Since you are not a registered nurse you cannot practice your nursing skills, sure you can get a job as a nursing assistant, but you will not be licenced to practice your nursing skills, and would be fully accountable for your actions if you chose to do so. You would not be able to apply to sit your NCLEX without being a registered nurse. Sorry

hmmm will you have a point on that janeola. maybe i will apply to take Nclex in California since they dont need local board license to take nclex....

there are a few states that do not require you to be licensed to sit the NCLEX but I think from reading the International forum that may change in the future although I do think it depends on where you are from.
But have to agree with Janeola that you would not be able to practice your nursing skills as a qualified nurse without going through the NMC and meeting all requirments
if incase i able to take the nclex and passed, can i practice my skills is US? but cant practice in england unless i passed all MNC requirements? i finished my nursing in philippines i heard from friends that newyork and california, florida dont need a local board to take nclex.
if i study again how long would it take to finished the nursing course here in england?
if you finished your studies the likelyhood of further study in the UK I think is slim. The only way to tell is to go through the process of NMC and from what I can tell if you do not have 12 months post reg experience then you have to follow a slightly longer ONP course. here is the link https://allnurses.com/forums/newreply.php?do=newreply&p=2262447
Also be aware of shortage of work and even though you have a work permit you may find that preference is given to UK, EU before rest of the world
