I have a question..regarding the bankdraft.
I am currently processing my application to take the NCLEX.
My problem is regarding the initial payment of $107. I don't have a bank account that's why I am inquiring if I can use my cousin's bank account to purchase a demand draft from a bank here in the Philippines. If I will use the account of my cousin the name that would appear as the purchaser of the demand draft is my cousin's name and not my name. Would that be okay? Will my application be accepted if the demand draft that will be used as payment for the fee of $107 is not purchased by myself?
pls answer...

Welcome
Moved to the International forum. Where I am sure someone will come to your assistance
One thing, you are not applying for NCLEX your application is licensure to be a RN in the US of which NCLEX is just part of that process. Would also recommend you have a read about California as it is not a state we recommend for initial licensure and also resommend you read about retrogression as you are looking at a few years before moving if luky to the US

As long as they receive the money and it is for your account, then would not worry about it.
But would seriously reconsider going for licensure in CA as they are not going to issue a license without a SSN# so there will be additional things that you will have to do.

Thank you for your fast reply.
What are the additional things that i need to do? I'm quite confused on choosing the right state for me. Hope someone could help me decide.
Well if going to Ca for initial licensure and it isn't the state you want to work in then you have to meet the new states requirements for foreign trained nurses which will mean further cost. Ca after 3 years if you have not provided them with a SSN then file is deleted and so are your NCLEX results. Muh has already been written on Ca I suggest you search for them using the search facilities
In the future, please do not post the same question in several places, it makes it hard to follow.
All that you need to do is take the time to do some reading on this forum. There is much for you to be aware of before you do a thing. We never help you select a state, that is something that you need to do after making an educated decision on it.
Please take the time to do some reading on this forum, much as already been written on this topic. And since the original question was answered, am closing this thread.

I think Arizona will give you the hard license even if you do not have an SSN. But you will have to sign an affidavit that you must provide the SSN once you have one!
