Question about "last 60 credit hour" GPA calculation?

OK, long story short, screwed around in college, with some life happenings in-between. However, making all A's now in my BSN program (doesn't this story sound all too familiar??).

One program I want to apply for the PMHNP track looks at the last 60 credit hours (UAB). Some websites say use the last 60 credit hours and the entire semester with which the 60th credit hour falls, and that part I understand. Basically I'll have more than 60 hours in the calculation.

However, this is the part I don't get and have not been able to find answers for: If I have advanced standing RN credits from my transfer to my RN-BSN program (43 hours worth of PASS grades) and also clinical courses which count in my hours but not GPA (PASS/FAIL), then how are these taken into account?

Some college websites have a GPA calculator for the last 60 hour class, and the final paragraph states: "Also, if you have any non-graded courses, or courses with grades which do not receive grade points (pass/fail, credit/non-credit, incomplete, deferred, etc.) do not enter there hours below. However, these hours are to be used to determine the last 60 hour cohort described above."

Any help? Thanks in advance!

I recommened that you speak directly with the school as it's only their answer that matters.

The school(s) you are interested in should have an advisor available who can answer these questions. If they don't, I wouln't waste my time with them. An advisor should be able to clear up any confusion for you. Best wishes for you!
