Question about Masters/Traveling/Army

Nurses Career Support

Published

So I am currently in a nursing program and when I graduate I will have a BSN RN. I want to become a nurse practitioner. However, I will most likely be married to my bf living on an army base about 2 months after I graduate from getting my BSN.

I was wondering about how much it costs on avereage for just two years of college to get my masters at grad school.

Also, do you think I could do those years on an online college-would that be credible?

And my last question is if we had to move about every year to another base-what should I do about my career?

Would being a travel nurse be a good option? I don't know how many hospitals throughout the USA there are available to pick from so I could find one close enough to the base I was living at. Or, do you guys think that I should just find a new job at a diff hospital on my own every year at different bases?

Sorry for so many questions all at once but I've been coming up with them for a while and I just joined the site. Thank-you so much for helping me!!

I'm not entirely sure how much an MSN costs on average---if I had to guess I would say $30,000 to $50,000. And there are online MSN programs, but I'm not sure which ones are good and which ones aren't.
