question about lasik eye surgery

Published

Is there any anesthesia associated with the surgery? Any anesthesia cost?

It's so much money per eye and insurance doesn't usually cover it, so is the cost for the surgery all inclusive or is there an extra charge for any type of anesthesia?

thanks in advance

I just lasik in Oct., no anesthesia charges, the price in inclusive. But you don't really get any anesthesia, they just numb your eye area and that is about it, you are truly and totally awake and aware of everything going on!! It's not bad though!! Good luck!

thanks, I'm not having it done but someone close to me is, I really didn't know much about it
