ok everyone i have a few questions for y'all. any and all help or advice would be helpful. i am currently an lpn and am looking to advance to get my rn= my goali s to get my np- however due to the fact that i have 3 children all under the age of 5 at home and a husband who works 3-11 the best option fo rme to get my rn seems to be through either rue, the college network or university of phoenix. if i go through iniversity of phoenix it will be approx 27 months and i will have my bachelors. and if i go through either of the other 2 it will take me about 15 months to get my asn- phoenix it will take me 15 months to get my associates but not my rn and then another year to get my bsn my thinking was to do it through rue or collge network and ge tmy asn in the 15 months and then work towards my bsn and msn while already working as an rn- does that make sense or ami gonig about it the totally wrong way? i am trying to make this easy on my family and not be gone so long since i spent the last 2 yrs in school to get my lpn and had 2 babies while i was in school=- so i dont want to be gone more than i need to be and with my husbands schedule i can't do night classes- and i am wondering what is the best way to go since my goal is to get my np and i am not even sure what i need to do to get that. i amthinking the best way is to do rue or college network and get my asn in 15 months and then work as an rn while i am pursuing my msn since i am assuming i need my msn to become an np? any advice anyone???? i have no doubt that i can do the online program- that is not the issue i am just trying to decide the best way to go. any advice anyone has will help thanks!
