Hello all, I just have a quick question about hours. If you work the standard three twelve hour shifts a week, do you get paid for 36 hours or for 40?

I work 36 and get paid for 36 but since half of my shift is on the evening part of the shift, I get eve. differential for the whole 12h. Over time is time over 40, so an extra 12h shift will get me 8h overtime. Plus we get a weekend differential also, so it really adds up nicely.

I work 36 hrs; Fri-Sat-Sun but get paid 40 hrs. Negotiated that when hired on. Only bad thing is if I work overtime, the first four hrs are "free" since I have to WORK 40 hrs before it's considered overtime. So...when I finish my 36, I'm done for the week.
