Hello, I am a nurse from The Czech Republic. I would like to be as a nurse here too. but I don't know wath I have to do for this. Now I am working here as an aupair. :paw:

There is a thread at the top of this forum called Primer for working in the US, that has all of the information that you will need to get started with licensure.
Please be aware that we are under a retrogression at this time and have been so since October, 2006, and there are no visas available for you to be able to remain in the US and work as an RN. We are expecting it to take several years before things will open up again.
First step in the process is licensure and you must have completed the exam before you can start the immigration process. Having a license will not give you permission to work here, it requires a specific visa different from what you have to work as an RN here.

I have a question too... I've passed the Local Board Exam here in the Philippines. I also want to work in the US, but since there is retrogression there, I would like to know if there is a state in the USA where the Licensure Exam will not expire.. Is there a state like that?
