I am hard of hearing and attending to community college in Tucson,AZ. My first language is American Sign Language. But I can also talk too.I am interesting to be a nurse career but my question is how will I able to hear heart, lungs, or breathing? What will your suggest? I have try stethoscope but I can't hear nothing at all I mean my both ears is completely deafness but I also wear Cochlear Implant on my left ear and hearing aid on my right ear. I can hear just without using them both then I can't hear at all. I just afraid people will not want me to be their nurse just because I am hard of hearing that's what its make me feel unsure if that what I want. I love to helping people and to make sure they are okay. But nothing will stop me just because I don't have good hearing sound.
