Question About Hospital Employment For CNA In Dallas Hospitals

I am hoping to get employment in a Dallas hospital, I have finished my course but unfortunately have to wait till OCT. 29th to take the state exam. Will hospitals consider employing someone in my situation? I am starting RN school in January and have my CPR and have taken basic health skills courses required for nursing school admittance. Should I start applying to hospitals or wait yet another month for my state certification? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I've applied to a few since I'm taking my CNA exam on the 27th, but I've already received a few letters (emails) back saying they've decided to go with someone more qualified. After receiving those I decided to wait until I pass.
