Hi,
I have been looking at: FAU's Accelerated BSN, Palm Beach State's ADN, and Miami Dade's Accelerated ADN. They all have the same science prereqs before submitting an application: Chem, AP I & II, Micro, Nutrition, Psych, Growth & Development.
However, Broward College is the only school that allows you to submit an application with only Chem, AP I & II. But their literature also states that the other science are "additional" prereqs. So, you can get admitted into the program with just Chem, AP I & II and they'll give you time to take the other sciences?
Thanks.

Its true they admit you with just those prereqs. Then in order to obtain your AS, you would complete those courses. But yes, Broward College isn't that hard to get into.
Are you an LPN?
Thanks for replying, Bebet39. No, I'm not an LPN. My first choice was the ABSN at FAU because I have a degree from another discipline. But since Broward accepts fewer prereqs to get in the program, it has piqued my interest to apply for the generic ADN.
Another question: would you have to finish the additional science prereqs before the actual nursing program, or does the school just give you time in general to complete them?
Thanks again for responding.
