Hello guys,
Most of you probably know me from the NOV 2007 NCLEX takers test and i guess i was the only one there who did not pass....But thanks to God i passed my third time with 265 questions...
........But the reason i started this thread was because i hate how people just come here and write "heyyyyyyy i passed" OR "I PASEEEED...thank you"...and thats it....and i used to think What the "u know what" did you do to pass?...so i am just gonna right what i did, so it could or might me able to help future NCLEX takers....
My blueprint for Passing NCLEX ( What i did to pass, not applicable for everyone)
------------------------------------------------------------------
1.Take 2 months to prepare.
2.NO matter what happens, do minimum of 200 questions/day.
3.Do maximum of 300 questions/day do more and lose more.
4.For every questions you got wrong, look at the rationale. You will be surprised how much you learn just by looking at the rationale.
5.Books i used
5A. Saunders Comprehensive Review {used it for reference}
ISBN-13: 9781416037088
5B. Mosby's Review Questions {Questions are really hard}
ISBN-13: 9780323047241 {Good for practice}
5C. Saunders Q & A for NCLEX-RN {Good indepth cleint need catogery questions}
ISBN-13: 9780721603520
5D.Kaplan NCLEX-RN strategies book {read it, do the questions} ISBN-13: 9781419550980
6. Do questions from wherever and whatever.. Remember
PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT.
7. Take a break once in a while. { All work and no play make jack a jack a**}
8. Review--Endocrine & metabolic section, Infections and how they spread { review these even if you know it}
9. Pray
I am also attaching my notes that i took from different sites that was available for free..Hope this helps you guys too..

Congratulations on passing and never giving up! Thank you for also providing us with study tips so all of us can be successful as you. I took my NCLEX 4 days ago and I still haven't gotten my results. I found out that my classmate who took the exam on the same day I did, had passed. The more time passes by, the more I feel that I failed. At first I thought that if I don't pass, that I don't know if I will have the motivation to take it again. But seeing all the "repeat offenders" inspires me to try again.
