Hi! I got accepted to Spring 2025

my stats are similar to yours

A in everything else but I took English 13 years ago and I got a B, I think they focus more on science classes 

I also got a 297 on NEX exam 

I specifically focused on getting a 4.0 in every other class and getting a high NEX score so I could be a strong candidate 

You should be fine!

also anybody know what is the rough price estimate for the uniform?

I've been recommended that a few times, but was told that since the Summer term is much shorter, it will be harder to pass. If you are confident, you most definitely should ! I took Microbio last semester and my grade was pending while trying for Spring 2025 Nursing, so I think it really depends on how confident you feel !

Hi,

 I got accepted to the nursing program for this Spring!I was extremely surprised since I felt inferior to my peers getting extremely high grades in their prerequisites courses , the pax/NEX exam , and GPA. Furthermore, Spring 2024 I applied and got denied. Most likely because didn't finish micro( withdrew mid semester, 3 exams in the course ). I also feel that I got accepted this semester(Spring 2025) due to the fact I reapplied. I recommend that if you got denied last semester reapply next semester and have backup schools incase you are graduating/ last semester at qcc.

Since the QCC nursing program focuses on A&P & micro I'll be stating only those grades as well as my pax and NEX scores.

1st Sem:

A&P 1: W

2nd Sem:

A&P 1: A-

3rd Sem:

A&P 2:B-

4th Sem:

Micro:W

5th Sem:

Micro: B

Pax: 108 (I didn't use this in my application for nursing)

NEX: 178 out of 300

GPA: 3.56

Additionally, Elizabeth as the interviewer and it was a group of 7-8 individuals in one room. We were all asked 7 question and we had to volunteer to answer the question. The most of the other interviewees answered most of them but not all.(I don't recommend doing this) I personally felt my answers were not the best but I tried to answer as much as possible. 

Overall, though I didn't have the best score and got denied the first time. I reapplied and got in! Don't think that if you got denied it's the end of the world. There is always a next semester!( Keep in mind I'm not 100% sure but if you apply more than twice they completely don't accept you after that)

hi there I just took the Nex exam today and I did really bad. 

only got 218, do I need to take another exam ?

Hi I just found out about this website and forum and wanted to ask for those who are in the nursing program for this semester of Spring 2025. How are yall doing for lecture any tips on how to study for it because I'm still a little lost on how to study but I'm not falling behind just want some tips on how to maybe improve more. All I've been doing is doing the readings but not getting any effective learning since it's a lot of chapters or pages to keep up with but im still managing
